dESIREE aLLISON, ba ibclc
Desiree has been providing information and support to breastfeeding mothers and babies, since 2004. She received her IBCLC credentials in 2010, and joined the Arizona Breastfeeding Center in 2013. She is passionate about empowering mothers to feed their babies at the breast, without guilt or pressure, through education and support. Her background is in Medical Anthropology and she is able to communicate respectfully and clearly with clients from many cultures and backgrounds. While she adores working with mothers and babies, her most precious job is as a mother to three spirited, determined, incredibly independent children, who ignited her passion to support other mothers on their journey through motherhood. In her sparse spare time, Desiree loves to spend time with her husband, quilt/ sew, garden, travel, volunteer in her church and in the community, experiment in the kitchen, read, learn, shoot her camera, and last, but certainly not least, SLEEP!
